Alojamiento para mascotas

When you can’t bring your dog or cat along, you can still make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and cared for—right here at GQ Animal Clinic. Our pet boarding in the South Florida area, available at both our Plantation and Hialeah locations, provides a welcoming home away from home with medical supervision, experienced caregivers, and stress-free stays.

What Is Pet Boarding?

Pet boarding allows your dog or cat to stay in a professional, secure environment while you’re away. Unlike a pet sitter or non-medical facility, our veterinary clinic offers supervised boarding with on-site medical support, ideal for pets with special needs, medications, or anxiety.

Our modern boarding areas in Plantation and Hialeah are designed for comfort and cleanliness, with separate spaces for dogs and cats. We accommodate both short-term and overnight stays, and all pets are monitored regularly to ensure comfort, cleanliness, and health. If your pet requires medication or special monitoring, we also provide medical boarding services for pets with ongoing conditions or post-operative needs.

Best of all, their entire stay is supervised by a caring team that loves every pet like our own family—and we’re committed to treating them with the utmost love, patience, and care while you’re away.

Boarding Requirements & Scheduling

En GQ Animal Clinic, our boarding services are designed to provide your furry family member with safety, comfort, and lots of love.

To protect the health of all our guests, we require the following before boarding:

1

Pets must be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPPCVL, Bordetella for dogs; Rabies and FVRCP for cats).

2

Pets must have a negative fecal exam within the last 12 months and be up to date with flea/tick preventives.

3

Any special diets or medications should be provided at check-in.

4

If your pet is staying with us longer than 3 days, we require bathing to maintain hygiene and comfort.

Reservations & Check-Ins

Space is limited, so we highly recommend that you book early, especially around the holidays!

Please bring your pet’s regular food if you’d like them to stay on their regular diet.

Pick-up hours must be specified at the time of drop-off so we can prepare your pet for a smooth and timely departure.

Preguntas frecuentes

Does my pet need to be vaccinated to board?

Yes. For the safety of all our guests, dogs and cats must be up to date on core vaccines. We’ll review your pet’s records and let you know if any updates are needed before their stay.

Can I bring my pet’s food or toys?

Absolutely. While we provide high-quality food and bedding, you’re welcome to bring your pet’s regular diet, treats, or a favorite toy for comfort.

What if my pet is scared or anxious to board?

It’s completely normal for your pet to be a little scared or anxious as it’s a new environment full of different smells and sounds. But rest assured that they are well taken care of and safe under our care.

What if my pet gets sick while boarding?

Our team will monitor your pet daily. If any medical issues arise, they’ll receive immediate veterinary attention with your consent. We will do our best to proceed with care only when we have your explicit permission, so in case of emergency, please provide up-to-date contact information when you drop off your pet.

How far in advance should I book boarding?

We recommend booking as early as possible—especially during holidays or peak travel seasons—as spots can fill up quickly and pricing may vary during these times.
